So everyone agrees I need a Hallowishes do over. I seriously do not know why it didn't bother me at the time. I was just enjoying the moment and I liked the solitude that the bridge by the castle afforded.
So I mentioned that we rode the HM and then saw Philarmagic. I was starting to get tired, but I surely wasn't ready to go home. I kept getting in candy lines, not because I wanted or needed more candy, but more because I will in the spirit of trick or treating. Denny stopped getting in the lines, so I just took his bag and said, "My DH won't get in line. Can I have some candy for him?" Then they would drop a generous handfull of yummy candy in the bags. I started getting those little fun size snicker bars and milky way bars. I had about a 1/2 bag of loot each when we left. I could have gotten a lot more, but why? I took the candy home for Nick, who thoroughly enjoyed it because he love sweets.
At some point in the evening DH and I did ride Snow White. I actually think it was probably when we first arrived at the party. I wanted to ride Peter Pan, but DH was not going to do any ride that wasn't a walk on. And Snow White was....literally. I also took a bunch of pics in there. I will post them because I think they are very much in the theming of Halloween.
Does this ride scare kids, because this tree is pretty darn freaky.....
And then later, as we were walking to Toon Town.....who did we see but the actual Snowwhite and her dwarfs.....
When we entered Toon Town there was this very old woman greeting everyone. It was very strange, because she looked like she was almost 80 years old, yet she was in a cast member uniform. Denny just looked at me and said, "Wow.....what is she doing here so late at night?" It was pretty surreal, but she was the friendliest lady, basically collecting a pitance of a pay check for trying to enhance the magic. I wanted to take a picture, but it seemed rude.
Denny and I decided to take a "look - see" inside Minnie's house. We toured Mickey's house in the blazing June heat, now it was time to check out Minnie's. Honestly, I thought they both lived together. LOL!
Somebody is starting to get a little lazy.....
Minnie looks like she's getting her "seamstress" on......
Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't Minnie's house a little more domestic than Mickey's. I mean....check out the kitchen........
Is there something a little sexist about the comparison between Mickey and Minnie's houses? I mean, come on, Minnie is baking a cake and making a grocery list and Mickey has a game room and workshop in his garage. Just sayin'. The only thing I didn't see in Minnie's house is a laundry basket and washing machine. Don't tell me it was there and I missed it!
Well, despite our fatigue, DH's protests, and the blisters on my feet, we waited in line for a picture with the domestic diva herself......
OK - just so you know - I realize I definately look like I belong in an episode of "What not to Wear" in this picture. That is actually a white tank top under my Mickey tank (in case you where wondering. haha).
We got a few more pictures as we left Toon Town. It was obvious that our photojournalistic skills are starting to take a nose dive.....
I almost forgot .....I actually got Denny to take a spin with me on the Tea cups. How could he say no.....there were about 3 people in line.
