From Illuminations to MK EMH?

Is it possible or has anyone ever hopped from Epcot after illuminations by way of monorail to MK for their EMH???

The EMH's post has thrown a monkey wrench into my plans and I was just curious.

Can you still get in??? I want to take advantage of both illuminations and the EMA over @ MK - say it can be done - say it!

As long as you are a Disney resort guest there is no reason why you cannot get to the MK from Epcot after Illuminations to participate in the EMH. What you might want to do is exit Epcot at the International Gateway and take the short (5 minute) walk to the Beach Club. From there you can take the MK bus. If you try to get there using the monorail you will run into a large crowd exiting at the same time and jamming the monorail. You would then have to exit at the TTC and switch to the MK monorail. A direct Disney bus from the Beach Club would be a lot easier, and probably faster.

We are staying @ the Dolphin and will be using the gateway often.

We did it twice in 2 weeks. Seen Illuminations then over to MK for Wishes and got are wrist bands and stayed til 12am.

Yes the busses from Beaches are closer than Boardwalk. But we have always taken the monorail and haven't had any problems.

We also rode the monorail from Epcot to MK after illuminations for EMH. It was not a problem at all.

In time for Wishes - that would be awesome. How long is Illuminations?
