Our family is going staying at POR for December free dining. Its probably a strange question but here goes anyway. We really would rather have quick service than the regular dining plan is there some way we can downgrade?

Looking at the ages of your kids I think you would want to keep the regular dining, if just for the character dining option. Go to a couple of those and it practically pays for itself. Plus they are all buffets....

Not sure about your downgrade. As it is free i don't know if you can downgrade. Sorry, just throwing an idea out for consideration.

I tried to do the same thing. We had the DDP last year and it was fun, but for our next trip we wanted just the QSDP, CM said no.

Just an FYI, with the DDP you can use your table service meals at the Quick Serv resturants. Of course this only works when you have used all your Quick Service allotments, but just tell the cashier you are using a TS credit, and you are good to go.

No. That is why we are staying value. My kids are 5 and 2 and we pefer the QSDP also. We have one character meal planed and t-rex and I think for 10 days that is plenty for us.

I agree. You're able to use TS credits for QS meals, but not vice-versa.
