? from a newbie to renting points

Hi! My friends and I are thinking about renting points next year. I know DVC members are now being offered the chance to buy the dining plan. My question is can you still buy the dining plan if you are renting DVC points? Thanks!

Yes you can! Just let the member that you are renting from know.

You pay for the dining plan when you check-in, but you have to sign-up for it before hand.

I had the same question. Just to clarify, is the dining plan the same as if I were staying at a WDW resort or is there a different plan for DVC? One more question, when renting, do we just tell the person that we are renting from that we want MYW passes or do we also do that at check in?

It is the same plan. And.... you don't have to purchase MYW passes to get it!!

So you cn order your passes from any other means you like. You can have AP or get them from another vendor.
