I totally sympathize with you. I have had a HUGE frog phobia since I was a kid. I know that some people won't get it, but the things just freak me out! Anyway, as much as I totally detest the little creatures, I have to say that I have frequently seen them at FW. I usually see frogs in October and Toads in December. The frogs in October freaked me out so much, that I will no longer visit there during that time period. They were on the top of the door jambs to the laundry room, on the windows and even found them crawling up the side of my RV. They were the freaky little kind with sucky feet. I hate the feeling that they could be "anywhere" with their ability to climb. The toads are easier to spot and easier for me to stay away from. I have tended to see them by the light posts around the loops. They actually sit there all night and wait for unsuspecting insects to hover around the lights. I know they have to eat, but again, just freaks me out! I have had a huge problem with the 1700 loop comfort station, as they are so bold that they have actually been IN the women's bathroom. No matter where I camp, if I have to use a comfort station to do laundry, I use 1600/1800, as I have not seen the volume of toads there. I do not go ANYWHERE at night without a flashlight directly lighting the path in front of my feet, and as much as this will bother some people, I delight in seeing the dried up little dead ones on the pavement in morning that have been run over by golf carts, knowing that I no longer have to deal with them! LOL
