Looking at a Frigidaire Wall Oven and a Bosch dishwasher? Anyone have any experience with these brands??

Also, an AEG Stovetop/Kitchen Aid Fridge

LOTS of appliances!;)

The repair guy that keeps coming to my house to fix my appliances tells me next time don't buy Frigidaire! And I will listen to him on that LOL..I have had nothing but trouble with them!

Love love love love my Bosch dishwasher.

It is so quiet, it gets my dishes clean and its worth it!

My FIL and SIL have a Bosch DW as well.

Just bought a Dacor stove...like a Wolf...sort of a commercial grade thing. DH wanted it...I don't cook!

Bought a Miele dishwasher. The salesgirl that we worked with said Miele and Bosch are basically the two brands she recommends as being the sturdiest and not needing much repair work...she has a Bosch in her house. I bought the Miele only because I liked the silverware rack better...it was actually a flat rack that you laid the silverware down in instead of a basket that you stood the silverware up in.

I'd rethink the Frigidaire stove. Every appliance place we went in to kind of wrinkled their nose at Frigidaire anything. Kitchenaide fridge...I have no idea. I have a Kitchenaide dishwasher right now which is avocado green (which gives you an idea of how old it is) and it still works fine...noisy, but fine.

For the heads up on Frigidaire. Back I go to the Appliance store!

I had a Bosch dishwasher in my last house - it was AWESOME!!!

It was so quiet, the very first time I used it I was standing right against it with my hand on the counter and said "I have to remember to turn this thing on". I opened it up to add a glass and realized IT WAS ALREADY ON!

Unbelievably quiet and cleaned everything really well.

Ahhh... if only it was in my budget for this house!

My parents have a Bosch dishwasher and really like it. It is so quiet! The buttons have come off though and it is only a few years old. Their other complaint is that the cycle time is very long.

We just remodeled our kitchen and I purchased all Kitchenaid appliances from their Architect Series. I was considering the Bosch dishwasher and the only reason I didn't purchase it is because I wanted my dishwasher to match the KA dishwasher drawer we added to our island. I have been every happy with my KA appliances - I also have the Counter depth SS Side-by-Side fridge, Double Convection wall ovens, Gas cooktop and over the counter microwave.

I loved my Bosch dishwasher in my last house. I wanted to yank it out and take it with me when I moved to Texas!

There was a downside to that dishwasher, though--it didn't have a dry cycle. I had to dry all my dishes after they were washed.

a Kitchen Aid bottom drawer freezer refrigerator. I have a KA dishwasher at the moment and haven't loved it? I have mix 'n match due to Kitchen 'issues' and choosing certain common looks and flat appliances. The Kitchen is brand new and outfitting it has been the toughest part!

We bought a Frigidaire side by side fridge, convection oven and dishwasher (all stainless) in June of 2004. We've had the dishwasher fixed twice and the next time it breaks we are going to replace it with a Bosch. No problems with the other 2 appliances though.

We got a Bosch front loader washer this fall and it runs great (and quiet).

Some Kitchenaid fridges are being discontinued. We were trying to get a specfic size Kitchenaid fridge and got to the appliance store and ordered it.

The next day the appliance store called me back to say that Kitchenaid is discontuining the items and the store hadn't even received the information about the discontinuinig of the product. It was a specific brand with icemaker/spout inside the door.

This all happened a few weeks ago. We wound up with a Whirlpool fridge which was a lower choice for us. We have a very limited space, so our other options were limited.

I got a real mix of appliances when we redid the kitchen last year. There were certain features I really wanted in the different appliances, and no one manufacturer had all of them in one line (yeah, I was being picky).... In the end it wasn't too difficult to get appliances that looked like they went together - the handles were the key! So I got (all in SS) -
*Bosch dishwasher - LOVE IT (Miehle was also highly recommended but more $$)
*Kitchenaid french door refrig, counter depth
*GE convection wall oven - same look and handles as the refrig!
*GE Advantium wall mount microwave/quick cooker - like wall oven below it
*Jenn-Aire gas cooktop w/ downdraft (black w/ SS trim)...

I spent a lot of time on manufacturers websites looking around. Mom and pop shops seemed to be most willing to work with me, and were the first to tell me that some handles could be changed out from one line to another within a same manufacturer.... didn't need to do that but it's nice to know.
Good luck!

Bosch is a Bentley and Frigidaire is a VW bug.

Kitchen Aid is good. The LG are supposed to be good too.
