We are staying at our DVC resort post Fantasy cruise in April. :cool1:Friends who are cruising with us are coming just for the day we disembark. Their plane leaves in the evening so they want to do Magic Kingdom for 1/2 day with us. They have non expiring tickets. Do they have to wait to get a MB when we get to the resort, the park, or can they get a MB through MDE if they set up an account pretrip?

My sister's family is staying at BLT with us and they have not purchased tickets yet. When she purchases them can she link the tickets to the bands after I receive them in the mail? Or, is it just easier for her to buy tickets at check in and have the CM link them?

Since we have a very little amount of time there, and it will be the day before Easter (crowded) I am looking to save as much time as possible.

I did a search and couldn't find answers so I apologize if this is already answered. Thanks!

Of they are listed on your reservation they should get a band , but I believe all bands are sent to one address so you would have to bring them for her. If not on your reservation no band.

We were just there and friends of ours wanted to come to the parks with us for a day so we added them to our DVC reservation since we could have more people in the room than were actually staying. It was too late to have the MB shipped so they had it waiting when we arrived at checkin.

As soon as they were on the reservation, they could be added to our FP + reservations. They had annual passes like us and this was before the new changes for AP holders that give you MB and FP+.

If you don't have room to add them to your DVC reservation, then they won't get magic bands, or be able to make FP+ reservations ahead of time. They will have to go to one of the kiosks in the MK the day of and reserve their FP+ reservation times. The CM will try and match their FP+ reservations to yours, but being the day before Easter, that may be impossible.

If they aren't on your room reservation, they won't get magic bands.

Thank you everyone.

Our ressie is full with my family and my sister's. So, can our friends set up magic bands online and pick them up at guest services, or do they have to wait until they are there in person?

If your friends are not a resort guest or an AP holder (which they appear to be neither), they can not get Magic Bands - ahead or in person. They can set up their three FP+ in person at a kiosk in MK and use their tickets to access the FP+ lines.

Magic bands are ONLY for on-site guests and AP holders. ALL other guests have to use the kiosks at the park the day of their visit.

Thanks everyone. I was under the impression that everyone had a magic band since they removed the turnstiles.
