Friends think Disney is stupid.

BELIEVE ME no matter where you live people will think Disney's stupid!

You just have to learn to deal with it. I live 2 hours from WDW and people think Universal's cooler. Disney's for kids. It's not though and only the select few of us know this.

Kids will pick on you about it for the rest of your childhood and teenage years. People are still always asking me "So are you going to Disney this weekend?" and obviously I go like 5 times a year not every day.

People will always mock you just try not to talk about Disney as much as you would want to is my suggestion.

None of my friends like Disney. Even High School Musical. When its not cool nobody likes it.

My friends just always ask "How can you go to the same place every year?" and then they will say "You go there every year, your rich!" Which we're not...I don't really ever happen to get the it's so childish...most of my friends wish they could go with me. I think that started at an older age with out growing up with Disney, most teens wouldn't get what was so fun about it, but I love it and so does my WHOLE family!

Hey there! OK, I'm a mom. Am planning a trip to WL in October - as a surprise to my 15 year old son. Am afraid he's going to think it's lame, but, with all the girls flocking around these days - I want to have one last mom/son trip before he totally tosses me aside. What do you think? Got him 5 day tickets to Disney Quest. Want him to do the "teen" stuff now that he's older. Any suggestion?

I am going Disney crazy all the time! I am always talking about it, on this website, reading WDW travel guides, (I know, I'm weird.) listening to Disney music, etc. My friends think I have lost it and have this weird idea disney is for little kids. So most of then say Disney is weird before they take the time to think about it. Does this happen to anyone else?

my friends are like this also. They always say "Your Disney Obssed!" or "Disney is gay!" I always ignore them. They play Runescape. I say "Runescape takes over ppl lives!" they also HATE Mickey Mouse. And make up mean Disney jokes. (that offenses me)

I'm not like crazy, crazy, crazy Disney fanatic. I do love 101 Dalmations, and I am not afraid to talk to anyone about that. It's not something I really talk about with other people who aren't like very close, close friends. My close friends let me babble until I notice that they've practically fallen asleep (this happens with any subject) or they aren't answering my questions.
I play Disney Trivial Pursuit with two of my friends. The other one of my friends doesn't really talk Disney much , but loves my Stitch stuffed toy. And well, the other is like an ex-friend at the moment and she wouldn't talk about Disney at all.. other than the theme parks.

I still get my picca's taken with the characters. I don't do the signing though. I find that a pain in the bum.

TOT or RNRC for rides. Disney Quest should be fun. Try Disney Online and click on teen group. You should get some good ideas.

My friends dont care really. They dont really even know what disney is. Nobody here has really been to DL or WDW so they think its pretty cool

Yeah same thing here.My friends make fun of me for going to WDW pretty much every year.I also watch Disney channel but the reason why i do is because at the hotel the only thing you really could watch is that.It gets really annoying how my friends hate Disney.

At first I didn't want to tell my friends at all cuz I was afraid of what they would say. When I told them they don't really make a big deal out of it. Of course there are those ignorent people who make fun of me because I'm obbsesed with Tinkerbell but it has stopped. I really don't care what they say anymore. They like it, they like it. They don't, they don't. Not my problem to deal with.
