The wallet is different because they were headed to a restaurant soooo yeah they should have had their wallet with them.

However, to the DL comment, this is purely general comment here but it is truly astounding how many people are out there driving around without their license. I watch On Patrol Live and all across the country it is the same craziness with people not having their IDs on them. I would not have believed it myself but truly it's somehow prevalent enough to show up time and time again.

..so don't you think that it's just the nature of how they edit the program.... the folks with out identification seem to be folks on the fringe anyhow

Editing would be like splicing things together or removing things out. When you flat out ask for identification (common when you are conversing with law enforcement) and the person says they don't have it, they left it at home, etc that's not editing. I'm not sure if you're going with something political with your fringe comment but the majority of people that are shown with that are your average everyday person. For someone like me who has their ID on them whenever I leave the house (even if I'm not bringing my full id case I use as a wallet) someone not having their ID on them is not something I would have expected to encounter much less in many jurisdictions. Could be an interesting conversation to have the next time my local police department does coffee with a cop though. But in a nutshell in respects to the PP basically saying yeah right people were driving without a license well there are people out there doing it while not likely applicable to the OP's supposed friends it does happen.

I really am short on time and need to get things done in a hurry but I just spent the better part of an hour reading this thread...fascinating and great drama and yes sorry about the situation OP. Sucks mostly bc new good friends are hard to come by when older and you think you found a good set and they turn out to be duds. There are a lot of oddballs out there...like way too many.
