Friends & Family on MDE

Tried to connect with DS account, put in his confirmation number and all of the people in the room showed up. After I hit submit I got an error so I tried again and the same thing happened. So then I just used his email and Disney sent him one to connect but only he showed up. I told him not to open the email. I see that you can cancel but everything (FP, ADR's) will be deleted. He doesn''t show any of these under my friends and family but I'm afraid to delete it as I don't want his stuff deleted. I have read some thread where people called IT and stuff got deleted for them so I don't really want to call IT. I'm wondering if we can't do it because he is there 2 days before us and leaving before us.

He has to invite you as family with privileges to share activities. You have to accept and mark him as shared, too. And if any of the people on the reservation have separate MDE accounts then they have to send invitations to share, too.

You might have to call IT to get it straightened out, if that doesn't work.

The add by confirmation number has not worked for a while now. There is no indication that Disney is aware of the issue or when it will be corrected.

The MDE Mobile App is less buggy when it comes to adding people to your Family & Friends list.

First, DS will need to accept your friend request. Once that's done, using the mobile app select 'Add a New Guest' then 'Browse People I May Know'. You will then be presented with a list of your friends and if you select one of them, you will see a list of their friends and you can manually select those you want to connect with and then touch 'Invite Selected Friends'.

Once he connects his account with the email, you should have the option to add everyone under his account to yours.
