Haven't been to Disney since the change from Fast Pass etc. I am having some confusion with the App and all the passes . It will be 4 of us. Wife and I and two teens 17 and 16. My DD, 17 has the app on her phone with her own login. When she looks all she sees is herself and me. Can she purchase and add everyone in our party to Genie+ and LL? or do I as the "group leader" need to do all that? This is my view on MDE. Her's is the 2nd

No she cannot. What you will have to do is get everyone to link their phones to everyone that needs it. That’s done nowadays via a linking code that if you make a group chat on text everyone can share theirs and add everyone to theirs apps. Just a note if someone’s profile is under someone else’s account, you can link them when you link the main account that they are under.

Also, she cannot purchase it, but she can make selections once everyone is linked.

So everyone has to make an account and then link them? What if some people don't want to? My wife for one has no interest in the app and lets someone else do the planning? I'd like to be able to a) off load some of the planning and b) have a 2nd app for 2x the chance for getting LL and G+ that we want. Also I am in possession of all the magic bands. Can I just scan them on each of the phones?

They don’t have to make an account. You can make them a profile under your account. It’s the same, but they don’t get their own login.

LOL I consider myself very computer literate, I'm in IT and this is driving me bat%$%^ crazy. Could they make this system any less intuitive?

I would ask Disney chat. I'm very tech literate and it took me hours to figure it out. They can probably give a better response than me lol.

I am having a similar problem-we are going with friends next week and our husbands don't have their own accounts. I sent her the email invite to link our plans so we can try to get passes together, but only her ticket showed up for me and she only got mine. We can not seem to get our husbands tickets to show up on each others accounts. Does anybody know how to fix this? I even made him a profile under my account and it still wouldn't link his ticket

I'm not sure if this is what you're trying to do, but my husband and our two sons and I all have the MDE app and are linked. On our recent trip, I bought the LL or ILL$ for all of us since I have my credit card linked to my account, but any of us could join a boarding group for the 4 of us, any of us could make LL selections for all 4 of us.

Also, my sister and I are going together in a couple of weeks and we're linked as well. I can see her and make plans for her with mine. She and her husband are going with their kids/grandkids in April and I can see all her plans and the tickets for her and her husband, who is also linked as my friend.

I wound up creating accounts for my wife and 2nd teen then sent invites from everyone to everyone and I think that worked. My dd can now see all 4 tickets in her account so I think (hope) we are good.
