Friends - 1 more season!

I just read from CNN.com that Friends is coming back for 1 more season, but that's it. I'm so happy, even though this year was not as great as last one. (Whatever happened to Joey-Rachel story line??)

After next year, I probably can go out on a Thurs night again, finally. About time.

Just an FYI for the non-Friends nuts. None of the Friends live together except for Ross and Rachel who are sharing parental responsibility for their daughter Emma.

I do believe that they live together as well. Or did I miss something dramatic the last few weeks when I couldn't watch it due to physical therapy??

I'm kinda glad it is coming back. I like the current storylines (although I do get frustrated with Ross and Rachel's inability to get together). I hope they don't have Phoebe and Joey get together to wrap up the last season.

I read where the stars were feeling a bit sad about it ending and had become rather dissembling about this being their last season. But, I also read that from a financial standpoint it didn't make sense to extend it another season (they wouldn't get more money in syndication for an extra season). However, it is a strong lead in for other shows...

I;m gonna go out on a limb (okay, not a giant leap here), but for the series finale, we'll probably see Ross & Rachel tie the knot & possibly Phoebe & Joey. It will probably be at least an hour long episode, possibly 1.5-2 hrs long.

The show has gotten stale, the characters are no longer believable, but its still one of the best written shows on TV. I'll probably watch it if it comes on next season. Better than the alternatives.

i'm very happy that friends is doing one more season! i love the show and was sad to know it was going to end. sure, the characters aren't necessarily believable with their lifestyles, but that doesn't mean there aren't friends that really live like this out there...

anywho...i don't think that phoebe and joey will marry each other. that would come out of the blue...i do think that she will stick with this guy she's with now. i think they're cute together! and joey will find someone for him OR land a really big acting job where he has to move to LA or something. ross and rachel will get together. and monica and chandler will get pregnant. that's how i see the show ending...

This will not make my kids happy. Every Thursday I run around after dinner singing the Friends song yelling it is Friends NIGHT, everyone in bed reading by 8!! I've started letting the 12 year old watch it with me. I have to be in bed with my pillows propped and heating pad on. One of my little joys of me time.

I kinda not want Rachel and Ross get back together. They're much more funnier when they're having fights.

I would like to see -
Monica becoming very messy after her kid is born.
Chandler turns out to have cooking gene and becomes a better chef than Monica.
Rachel becomes a career woman.
Ross go back to school or go on a expedition or something.
Joey gets a permanent gig on Days of our Lives.
Phoebe moves to Russia with her scientist boyfriend.

So, potentially 5 or 6 spinoffs.
