I have to agree that 50s Prime Time has some of the best fried chicken I ever tasted.

If you are a power eater when it comes to fried chicken....go for Trails End buffet at Ft. Wilderness. You'll get the best value for your money there.

I'll be hittng BOTH Trails End and 50's Prime Time in September!

Daft question maybe but is the 50's primetime fried chicken made with bones, or can you request it to not be? It's not something I ever eat at home but i'd like to try it as long as there are no bones

I've never heard of fried chicken being served without bones, except maybe a fried chicken sandwich. If they have that on the menu, maybe they can serve you the fried breast instead of the regular fried pieces.

My BIL is the same way...won't eat chicken with bones. Many places use just breast meat and call it "chicken fried chicken", basically chicken tenders, just made with a full piece of breast instead of strips of white meat. I don't believe 50sPT offers that, but I haven't looked at the menu in a while.
