The best pics I've seen are from 50's Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios. Excited to try it in Nov!!

Prime Time Cafe and HDDR are two of the best that we have found! Yummo!!
Trails End Dinner Buffet, same chicken as the HDDR.........
I have to agree that 50s Prime Time has some of the best fried chicken I ever tasted.
If you are a power eater when it comes to fried chicken....go for Trails End buffet at Ft. Wilderness. You'll get the best value for your money there.
I'll be hittng BOTH Trails End and 50's Prime Time in September!
A picture from the food porn thread of 50's PT chicken:
And, yes, you can swap out the 'southern greens' for a different veggie!
Don't know how old that previous picture is...here's one from April of this year: (I'm thinking the person above asked for white meat only and was given two breasts)
And here's a sample of someone's plate from Trails End buffet:
Daft question maybe but is the 50's primetime fried chicken made with bones, or can you request it to not be? It's not something I ever eat at home but i'd like to try it as long as there are no bones
It has bones. VERY good though!!!
Oh my gosh that looks amazing!! I love fried chicken and im tempted to switch one of my ressies to Trails End. I wish i had one extra day to fit it in
I've never heard of fried chicken being served without bones, except maybe a fried chicken sandwich. If they have that on the menu, maybe they can serve you the fried breast instead of the regular fried pieces.
My BIL is the same way...won't eat chicken with bones. Many places use just breast meat and call it "chicken fried chicken", basically chicken tenders, just made with a full piece of breast instead of strips of white meat. I don't believe 50sPT offers that, but I haven't looked at the menu in a while.
All of a sudden I'm craving fried chicken...
I love the fried chicken at 50's PT.
I'm from the south, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the fried chicken at the Hoop Dee Doo Review. It was so good!! Gah, I wish I had some now!
The chicken at Trails End is the same as Hoop Dee Doo!
Thanks for the info I may end up getting the pot roast instead
