I have a lunch PS set for 50's PT next Tuesday and can not wait! However, I can NOT choose between the pot roast and the fried chicken. I have seen pics of both and they look awesome. All the pics I have seen of the chicken have been of breasts. Now, I only like dark meat. Do they have legs available? If not, that will make my decision much easier :goodvibes . TIA

I've had the Pot roast before, and it was WONDERFUL. I believe the standard portion for the fried chicken is a breast and leg... not sure if thighs are available, but I'm sure you could request it.

We just had the Fried Chicken at Prime Time. It was out of this world. You get a leg thigh and breast. There is A LOT of food!!!!!
We did not have the pot roast but we heard that was good also.

One get Pot Roast the other Fried Chicken and share. :wizard: :wave2: That is if you are dining with another person. :goodvibes

The pot roast is so good at 50's Prime Time that I've had it there twice already, and will be having it again when we're there in July! However, I've been wondering about the fried chicken, too. I just don't know if I want to chance missing their wonderful pot roast, in case the fried chicken isn't as good.... :scratchin

I have never had the Pot roast but I can definitely give the fried chicken a huge thumbs up.
I think I will get the M's to split a roast beef dinner and we all can share.
Gotta leave room for the desserts you know. ;)

The chicken is very good and is what I get each time I dine there. It comes with a breast and a leg, as well as mashed potatoes & green beans. Also you can ask for the gravy on the side if you want.

Another vote for the fried chicken, excellent! My meal came with a breast, wing, and a thigh. I'm looking forward to the same meal in June.

By the way, the PBJ milkshake is awesome!

The fried chicken is awesome. I just made my PS for our July dinner today and that is what I am ordering. I like it just the opposite only white meat and the last time I was there they substituted an additional breast for the leg and thigh so I am sure if you told them you only eat legs and thighs, they would accomodate you. Save room for the smores dessert, out of this world.

Aaaargh, y'all are not helping at all :rotfl: . Maybe I could order the pot roast with a chicken leg on the side....
Yardbird, my daughter can't wait for the PBJ shake, me- I'd prefer a PB & banana shake (always get them at Dairy Queen).

I'm gonna vote for the pot roast, but the chicken is very good too - lol! I think you can get good fried chicken more places than you can get this good of pot roast so that influences us. This is a must do place for us - enjoy!

I'll vote for the chicken. Lots of food though, I had a hard time getting through everything last visit. The thought of being fed by the waiters was incentive enough though. :goodvibes

DH and I last trip got the Pot Roast and Chicken and split them between us. Both are amazing and I wouldn't think twice about ordering either again. Great basics meal with lots of atmosphere.

Oh man, this sounds really good! I think I'm gonna have to add a dinner at Prime Time for my trip!!

On a side note, I also have to give props out to the Meatloaf and the Salmon... both are super yummy. Oh yes, and the onion strings are great too. Why can't I just order the whole menu?!?

Hush your mouth Tyler, do you know how long it took me to get down to only having to choose between pot roast and fried chicken, instead of meatloaf, pot roast, and chicken?!
Now, I don't do seafood- so feel free to talk up a storm about the salmon.
Okay, in 24 hours we will be in MGM headed to lunch at the PTC. I can't wait!!!

I would do the pot roast. Like someone else said, you can get a good fried Chicken anywhere, but that pot roast melted in your mouth. DH got the chicken, I had the pot roast. (last Friday)

We love the pot roast at 50's PT as well as their meatloaf. I tried to make a pot roast last night and I think poor DH is still down in the kitchen trying to cut through it...DRY and HARD. :confused3 :sad2: Guess I need to return to WDW for a tasty pot roast.
