fridges in-room

do you have to pay for a fridge in your room if you need it for medical reasons?
i ask because my son has a low immune system and often needs antibiotics whislt away my GP has written me a letter(which i have to pick up tomorrow)do i contact virgin or my resort?

From what I have read in other posts, fridges for medical reasons are free (and now free for non medical in moderate and deluxe resorts). You just ask at checkin at your resort.

Fridges for medical reason are free in all WDW resorts.

Also, Disney are now introducing free fridges in all Moderate and Delux resorts - you may need to ask for one though

I think a lot of it depends on where you are staying. For example we are staying in the QII on IDrive and get a fridge and a microwave in our room at ono extra cost.

If you booked through Virgin (as we did) it should state this in your brochure.

we are traveling with virgin and staying at all star movies,would i be better off waiting till i arrive at resort rather than ringing virgin?
i have just picked up the letter my GP done and she has wrote that his antibiotics need to be kept at the right temp,would this letter be enough?
