Fridge ?

Ok...have been missing from DIS for a while, very busy summer and even though I have a short trip planned for my daughters 21st birthday in 13 days I've been so often I don't really stop by DIS that much...

With that being said...I just saw someone post about fridges being removed from rooms. I am staying at All Star Movies August 13-17th. Will I have a fridge? I am quite concerned because I have a Garden Grocer delivery coming with the expectation of having a fridge and I am flying...so no way to get a cooler with me.

I called the ASMu on Saturday to ask if they have fridges in the rooms because DS has a milk allergy and I need to have soy milk for him. The CM told me that the resort usually has fridges but they are having a problem with them right now.

I'm arriving on Aug. 30th so she suggested calling 2 weeks in advance to ask if the problem was solved or otherwise I could request a fridge when I arrive.

Unless you have a medical necessity plan not to have a fridge. Many of them are being removed due to a potential fire hazard.

Better safe than sorry...I added on a stryrofoam cooler from Garden Grocer....no more worries about warm milk and juice for me!

I'm sorry but it is likely that you will not have a refrigerator.

You can request one at check-in but it's not guaranteed.
