Fridge Swap Questions??

Im new, I was hoping someone could give me a quick run down on how this works.
Do you pay per day? Were do you pick it up? Were do you return it?

Do you pay per day?
You pay beforehand to the the organizer of the swap or in some cases its free. Its one fixed amount for the duration of ur stay.
Were do you pick it up?
When u check in you ask at the front desk about a package that has been left with your name on it. The will get it ou for you and u can take it to ur room.
Were do you return it?
You return it to guest services with the name and details of the person after you on the list.Thank You

I'm new at this too. Does anyone know why you need to give the swap organizer your reservation number? I felt wierd about giving that out.

You need to have a reservation number to put on the fridge so that they give it to the right people. You won't necessarily be swapping it off directly to each other, but leaving it as a will call package for the next reservation.

When we were in a swap last year, I didn't give my ressie # out until we got closer to our trip date because I felt a little uncomfortable about it as well. I only gave my ressie # to the person who was actually leaving the fridge for me.

You will need to give the # to the person ahead of you - and get the # of the person behind you - because I believe that the desk won't hold packages without the ressie #.

It was fun communicating with fellow Dis'ers about the swap.

I am interested in a fridge swap from Nov 26 to Dec 3 2007. I am new to Disney as well as a fridge swap. Any advice is much appreciated.
