Fridge Status Check-in *SEE FIRST POST

Two things. One, I am worried about people plugging in the old ones and then the people replacing them getting confused as to which have been replaced and which haven't. Especially since the resorts are giving them to some guests for medical reasons. Are the new ones different in appearance? This whole thing seems very haphazard.

Second, does anyone have an update on CBR? The last one I saw was from several weeks ago.

the new fridge is alot bigger than the old fridge. also our old fridge was still insde the cabinet with a do not use sticker on it,. the old fridge was next to the table

My son checked into CBR Barbados no refrig. He called and was told only for medical reasons and said the women sounded mean. No offer of $15. he had one when he was in All Star Movies herbie section the last 3 days.

Pop from 8/30- 9/2----no fridge

BUT...............after 24 hour hours we politely complained hoping to get a credit on our bill and they wound up digging up a small traditional fridge/freezer within 30 minutes. They assured us that no medical needs guest would suffer if we got it.

DRAT............we really wanted the possible 15 buck per night credit, but we were happy to have cool and dry bottles and cans for the rest of our stay!

we checked in POR Mon and had requested one for medical purposes. we were told we had one but when we got to our room--a white fridge with the note on it. After talking to several people we got a fridge-a black one and I was told it was a new one

Just back from stay at ASMo from 8/24 to 9/1/13 Old fridge still in room with note not to use it. No new fridge yet.

We're going the second week of November at POR. Would anyone say the fridge situation should be settled by then. Has anyone stayed in a wheelchair assesable room? Are they replacing them first?

Is it just my imagination, or does it appear the handful of resorts which haven't been switched over yet seem to have no new fridge activity?

I've been watching the status of Pop very closely since we arrive in 44 days and there are no reports of new fridges going in yet. Seems to be the same for the few other resorts still waiting.

In July and August there were constant updates about new fridges going in but nothing lately. Is this project on hold for a few weeks while they wait for more to come in?

I just returned Sept 3. We staryed at CBR Jamaica building 41 and we had a working fridge. My inlaws stayed in the roon next to us and also had a working fridge. Hope that helps some of you.

Helps me Pirate Princess 2! DH & I check into CBR (hopefully Aruba) in 16 days and have noted a fridge request on my reservation. I do not have a medical need but a large Garden Grocer order scheduled to be delivered.

Quick question - did either your party or your inlaws have to ask for one once you got there?

Just back from CR Tower Room 8/26-9/3, had a fridge even though I hadn't specifically requested one. It looked to have been recently installed as it still had the packing tape holding the shelves in place.

Side note: if my experience is any indication, the new fridges still don't stay cold in those stupid cabinets unless you leave the doors open (and mousekeeping inevitably closes those doors every day even if you leave them open meaning you return to non-cool drinks at night ).

Neither of us requested a fridge. So I take that as a good sign that they have plenty, but no one told me that for sure. Good luck hope you have a great time.

So funny. I would leave the cabinet open everyday, and everyday Mousekeeping would close it. I even tried just leaving it opened a crack. They still closed it. At least we had fridges. It sure helped out with breakfast and cold drinks at night after the parks.

We were at POP Aug 4-10. We had 3 rooms, and all 3 of the fridges had notes asking us not to use them. We had to ask twice for a fridge for my mother..she is diabetic.

Anyone have any info on fridges at All star Sports? I'm hoping they might be bumped up in priority because of the food court renovation.

Just back from ASMU, 2 rooms did not request fridge, one had fridge when we arrived, the other got one the second day after requesting one.

The fridges have been replaced at the Art of Animation, Boardwalk, Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, Yacht Club and Beach Club. They have also been replaced at the Grand Californian, Disneyland Hotel and Paradise Pier at Disneyland.

We are at All-Star Movies right now in the Mighty Duck section first floor. We have two connecting rooms and both have working fridges.

Just got back from por and no fridge. We asked but were told none were available.
