HI- I'm planning on getting a few items from Garden Grocer. I have seen the size of the fridge in pictures, but I am not sure what will fit. Are they really small or deceptively big? :confused3

Will a half gallon of milk fit? Looks like it would fit on the door...

Staying at ASMov...
TIA!

We really pack our little fridge so I will try to help you out. By moving one of the shelves inside, I can fit apx 2 half gallons of milk, one quart of choc milk, 4-5 water bottles, 4-5 bottles of beer, and a 4 pk of yogurt. HTHs:goodvibes

We pack a lot in that little fridge as well. Unless we have breakfast ADR's we eat breakfast in the room, so we have milk, yogurts, fruit etc. in the fridge. It is a pretty small fridge, but it can actually hold quite a bit!

It will fit on the door. The doors (at the least the ones I've witnessed) have a spot where it goes all the way up so you can put tall items.

Here's the best pic I could find from my travels there:

I've heard that it's not exactly cold enough for dairy though. Has anyone taken a thermometer and checked it? I read on another thread that it kept milk cool but not cold, just not sure if we want to chance it with dairy.

I planned on taking a thermometer with us....because I'd love to have some milk and yogurt in the fridge for snacks and breakfast but don't want to risk getting sick.

We've never had a problem with any type of dairy with their fridges.

The new "fridges" at the values are what are referred to as beverage coolers. You normally see them a great deal on cruise lines. They keep cold items cold, but by no means will be able to keep items that need to be frozen or made very cold initially.

I'm not sure when the "new" ones were installed, but we were at POP less than a year ago and kept drinks, milk, pudding, deli (lunch meat/cheese) all cold. Hope this helps.

Yes we found the difference between coolers and refrigerators when dd was an infant.

The new ones were installed in all the existing values, including POP. They fit in the entertainment center.

So you're saying no dairy etc? And does anyone know if it's the same for aoa suite fridges?

Well my husband does refrigeration for a living so he will NOT be letting me put milk or any other dairy in the fridge/cooler without making sure that it's going to keep it cold enough LOL.

I would love to have some milk and yogurt available though, as would he.....he likes a glass of milk before bed and it's kind of inconvenient to keep buying the little ones at the food court.

AoA suites have regular fridges, as all other suites.

I'm unsure where the term "beverage cooler" is coming from, but it isn't coming from Disney. According to the official WDW website, the amenities included in value resort rooms are as follows:

Room Amenities
•Cable TV
•Pack 'n Play Playard available
•Rooms and facilities for Guests with disabilities
•Self-parking
•Wi-Fi is available in all Guest rooms and select public spaces
•Hairdryer
•Safe
•Iron and ironing board
•Mini-fridge

Disney refers to them as a mini-fridge, not a beverage cooler.
