Fridays in May

Hi everyone,

I need some advice for our May trip. We have one day for Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure. We don't care about riding any bigger coasters and have been before. Mainly interested in Diagon Alley and doing favorite attractions/shows. We are fine with using Single Rider Lines where needed. We are typically ready to leave by 5:00 and don't care about seeing nighttime entertainment.

Because of the rest of our Orlando plans, a Friday would work best. But Universal is closing early for grad nights. Should I be concerned about that (i.e. more crowds)? Or does that work with our plans b/c we wouldn't be there late anyway?

PLEASE can someone help me decide? Thanks!!

We've done it and would never do it again. The park is just mobbed with kids. Not necessarily the ones for grad nights but also younger kids on day trips.

fridays in May get a lot of kids in the park.
many schools do a field trip day there.
