Friday Rant!

Okay so today I paid a visit into town and to my surprise it was really quiet and soon I found out why... 1. To go into a buffet restaurant for lunch it would normally cost £6.50 (sorry for sterling currency) however JUST because it's a bank holiday weekend (which it isn't because today is FRIDAY) the price was £11.80 so in the end I settled for a Subway... and 2. I had to wait an HOUR for a bus because it's "bank holiday weekend" :/ Normally the buses come every 10/20 minutes, fair enough considering Saturday, Sunday and Monday bank holidays but since when has Friday came under as a weekend?! Was it like this last year? BUT on the bright side I got a cute new purse

Today is Good Friday and IS a Bank Holiday. they don't always fall on a Monday (like Christmas Day or Boxing Day can be any day of the week but if they fall on a weekday they will be a Bank Holiday).
Yes it was the same last year - Good Friday has always been a holiday since records began.

The Friday before Easter is always a bank holiday
It might not be as bad next Friday because not everyones getting the holiday, well not in Scotland anyways!

My father left today for the UK, and his flight was oversold by 50 seats He is spending 3 weeks in Greater Britain, and will be in the London for (but not AT) the wedding. Anxious for some nice souvenirs, and pictures.
