Friday night at the Contemporary!

I had the best time on Friday night! I traded for some pins that I have been wanting, but I also traded one that I wish I had not. It was great to meet so many people, but I still like the nametag idea. there is always the next meet. Speaking of the next meet I will see you all at The Polynesian tonight.

WOW!!!!!!

It was packed....wall to wall pin traders...and I agree w/ Jimi, we should have stayed w/ the
name tag idea...but they all came so fast and furious.. from the left, from the right..back , front..
We just LOST control....

I'm sitting there, recuperating from the Cast Blast, and doing Epcot w/a couple of the CM ,laynard surfing
when Kathryn Jimi & Lori walked in around 6:30..our resolve was there, name tags for everyone, then the next thing I knew
a million ( well it seemed like everyone from the Disboards were there) pin traders were surrounding us.

People came and went all night..they were still there in droves when we left close to 1 am..

Now mind you, some of these poeple had to be up bright and early to drive (Eyores Pal for one safe trip)

Some of the ones that I got to speak to were.. Nigel-Bigel, she was leaving today for Ft. Lauderdale, and this was one of her first pin meets, and she was very excited to put faces to the board names...

NH Mickey...he was pooped after a day doing the parks,
LMBeauty, great to see her again
Eyores Pal, and her pin trading family, I think they all had fun, and made some great trades..the boys were on a roll,
but the great wet paint pursuit continues..

And when I wake, and clear some cobwebs, just walked our of bed, 3:30 am was when we finally made it to bed ourselves

training. As far as the Friday Night pin meet goes, we hit our secondest highest attendance ever. Even though everyone was not there at the same time, with the staggered endings of all the ongoing events, we certainly had a near record attnedance. I counted 140 something unique visitors throughout the night. Figgy and EKF came in after me so I didn't get to see them there, but I understand that they made it there too. The ones I did get to see that I can remember are: Perdita-Nancy and Pongo-David; Sandy, Rob and Stephanie; Mickey 7811- Darlene; Perndwler; Jamesand Linda D.; NH Mickey, Nat and Sandy; Realygoofymom and Brer Frog along with DD Michele; and although she did not make it to the meet we did get to see DVCRegina and her DH Gary, Sue Ellen, her DH, Tara, and her DB, LLMBeauty-Leslie, who I was resolved not to get to see at a pin meet this time, Eyores Pal-Robyn, and her entire pin trading family; CM Jimi, CM Wesley stopped by to see us on his break, twice, Quentin; daber-David; yensid1222-Scott, CM Blaine, CM Jeff; CM Janice; Audrey, ismetoo, brooke and yardhaunter, Epcot Kilter Fan-Deb and Figgy got there after I left.

I know I have left people out, but it was just wonderful, I was hopin to meet nigel-bigel but never did (did I?)

Next week we have a party of 10 having dinner at Chef Mickey's before the meet. See you guys and gals later!!! As Carol Burnett says "Thanks for the memories!
