Freshman Friday?

In my school, we have something called freshman friday, where te first friday of school, all the seniors bother the freshman. Last year (when i was a freshman) it got pretty bad with the guys. What happened was all the senior guys zip tied a lot of freshman guys to the urinals and the girls had to wear shirts that say " i am XXX freshman slave" and stuff like that. All my brothers friends who were seniors (my bro grauated the year b4) tried to embaress me, like they would come into my classes and stuff.... it was sorta funny, but it got annoying after a while. Does anyone else have this, or is my school the only one?

not really. Their is something at our school..only no one knows when it is..but its at the end of the year sometime. But I think its all a hoax..nothing really happens except like 2 kids get put in trash cans.

hmm well im a sophmore now but are school had sumtin like this only the seniors are really nice to the freshman cause the freshman are a bit lost on were to go an stuff. the only bad thing of bein a freshman is that we got barked at but i always just ignored it.

Oooh my school definitely had it.. My freshman year was really bad. A lot of my guy friends got pretty beat up - and even after school in the girls locker room this huuuuge girl was throwing girls in the shower and garbage cans before practices. Yehh I definitely ran out of there before she could get to me hahah.

This past year was my senior year.. but we had a new principal who um, was not cool, so if ANY teacher saw you picking on some kid, you were in some deeeep trouble.

at my old high school, this was just a myth. no one ever really did anything.

nothing happens to freshmen at my school...the teachers at the junior high school get them all scared and say that the seniors will try to sell them elevator passes and stuff like that, but I never heard about anything actually happening. Freshmen get teased by upperclassmen, but it's just like "haha, you're a freshman," not anything really mean.

Never had it at my school.. the freshman were pretty much ignored. I swear I never saw them in the hallways, they must have had special freshman ways of getting to class everyday...

Well I dont exactly top the hight chart at my little 5'2 self, so I saw eye level with alot of those youngins.

I'm a freshman in college now and the upper classmen know who we are because of orientation and they joke with us but nothing bad

Im not a freshmen but an 8th grader...nothing at our school ever happens but i know for sure there are alot of schools that do those sorta pranks! I have a friend from Fl. who is in 9th grade this year and the have a lot of freshmen fridays! My mom's school used to do it when she was a highschooler and all the schools around her did it to! So dont worry your not the only school that has freshmen fridays!

i don't know, but last year during homecoming upperclassman filled eggs with nair [hair removal stuff] and threw them at freshmans, so i'm kinda freaked out i hope they don't do that this year. i don't want to lose my hair yet.

Well, ignoring the fact of how old this thread is....

Yeah we had a thing called Freshmen Friday except it had nothing to do with seniors pulling pranks. Freshmen Friday was a Friday near the end of school wear all freshmens agreed to call in "sick" and have a free day.

I started homeschool before they did it, but I heard it worked pretty good and barely any 9th graders were in the school that day.

in my school its all 12 grades togeathor(sp) but 6 is part of the lower school and 9 is part of the middle school

all grades get along but freshman are treated with extra respect by 7 and 8th graders
