And no BD, I don't need fruits and veggies.;)

When we were strolling around Key West in August, my family thought I lost my mind when I spotted a Fresh Produce Store. I was so excited!!! I love their stuff! One of my favorite Disney shirts is made by them.

For the ladies, this is the company that makes those nice heavyweight cotton clothes in those gorgeous colors.

I bought a wonderful cotton dress that I ended up wearing most every morning when I went to get a cup of coffee. It was the perfect thing to throw on and look halfway decent, as if that's possible before that first cup of java. ;)

They had a full range of sizes. I'm not sure of where it is exactly, and it's not on the Disney map. I'm sure if you ask, someone will be able to tell you where to find it.

Hey there Regina,
do you remember what street you was on such as Simonton, Whitehead or Truman Avenue - or did you wander around some of the side streets of Key West? There are so many places in Key West that open up and then shut down several months later due to the HIGH rental charged ----I believe I know what you are speaking of, but will need to check it out when I get down there in a couple of weeks -----there are some great places to shop also if you get away from the "mainstay" such as around Mallory Square and go up Eaton, Fleming and Southard Street - nearer to White Street -----I have seen some neat places but never had a chance to stop simply b/c time at "home" is so short --
Drop me a note or post here if you can give me a landmark.
Thanks a bunch
always
Shirley

Here's what I remember about my visits to Key West, "Sheesh it's hot, sheesh it's crowded, sheesh it's hot, oh look a man with a snake, sheesh it's hot, wow, there's a Wachovia ATM, sheesh it's hot."

Here's what DH remembers, the store was in the vicinity of Jimmy Buffett's. :p

They are on the same street. It is an absolutely wonderful store! I as well was so excited to see it, I bought a ton of stuff from there. The address is 400-A Duval Street, as I remember it is right on a corner. I will definately be going there again in February!

I can understand your excitement! I love their stuff too and am wearing a lovely sweater from there right now! It is on a corner - if you are coming from the Magic it would be on the right hand side - we were there on July 6th. They also had quite a few bargains - now if they only had a shop in Scotland!

I was such a sweatball by the time that we stumbled across it, that I didn't want to try too much on. It's my one regret that I didn't buy more than I did.

Next cruise is the Eastern, so no Fresh Produce for me.:(

Regina,

I know it's not the same as being there via DCL, but....I found a website, and they have a mailing list, and an email mailing list.

Fresh Produce

Could help you get your fix until you get back.

Debbie

Thanks Debster! That was very nice of you.

There's an extra "http" in the link. Once I removed it, I got it!

We called the one in Orlando when we were in WDW earlier this month. We didn't expect it to be in City Walk and didn't have the time to go there.

But there's always the next trip......:teeth:

I live in Melbourne(just south of Canaveral) and we have 2 stores in town that I KNOW of that carry Fresh Produce. One I've been in--and the other was in old historic Downtown Melbourne and I was passing by and saw a sign in the shop window advertising they carried Fresh Produce. So if it's before the cruise and you need you're fix--head down our way!!

Hi there,
Cocoa Village also has these products - one of the shops is called Mangos and the other Green Apple - Cocoa Village is a super neat place to shop when here for a cruise - I know of the shop that is being spoke of in Key West - they do have nice products - I go in there when ever I get down to Key West - will check with them when I am down this time and see if they will offer the cruisers "conch" rates - when I get back will let you know for those that are interested.
Any place else you want me to check while in Caya Hueso aka known as Key West?
Always
Shirley

I know that I can find this brand in stores. They usually have some racks of their clothes in Adventureland in the MK.

But nothing compares to an entire store of just Fresh Produce.:D

Thanks for all the tips!!:D

Well, I searched the website and there is very little on the East Coast! I've found Fresh Produce on the Ocean City, NJ boardwalk and in a store in Willow Grove Mall in PA but that's it. I guess we should move to Florida!!

There are several shops at Disney World that carry their clothes. I remember the announcement about that a couple of years ago. Right off the top of my head I can only think of the one across from Pirates of the Caribbean. Downtown Disney has a few also.

I think they have some really cute stuff. Disney's Hilton Head location also has a lot of their merchandise.

It looks like there is a fresh produce store at Universal's Citywalk:

FP Orlando
Universal Studios City Walk
6000 Universal Blvd, Ste. 745C
Orlando, FL 32819

Yes, I do usually purchase some outside the Pirates ride in the huge gift shop!
