Fresh or Garden Grove Character Breakfast?

Staying at the Swan and will be having a leisurely breakfast on a Sat morning. Usually we grab and go. I have 2 girls ages 8 and 12 and we are heading out to a 4 day Disney Cruise the next day.

Should we do Fresh or the Garden Grove Character Breakfast? We like just the more basic pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs, some bacon and sausage and OJ and coffee. I know Fresh is raved about, but I am not sure if we would enjoy it or the Character Bfast more?

Opinions? Reviews? And do I make reservations for either of them? If so, how?

Fresh is solid for breakfast. I would like to hear some opinions on Garden grove as well, if anyone has been lately.

We have never done GG breakfast, only lunch. We really enjoy Fresh when we stay at the Dolphin.
