Fresh brewed ice-tea in WDW

:goodvibes Brewed cold tea is my favorite too. I always ask.

In years past I do remember them having Nestea (ick), but I definately think most is brewed these days. Liberty Tree Tavern used to have the best sweet tea, but they don't serve it anymore.

As far as Iced or Ice Tea - Does it really matter what someone calls it. We all know what they are referring to.

For many years now, I have enjoyed fresh brewed mango ice tea at the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. Ask for it and if it is available, you will be in for a treat.

I didn't know that! I'll have to ask for it next time. Unsweetened I hope?

Stinky Pete, you do know that all black teas do have different blends I imagine. Which are your favorite?

Does Royal Anandapur Tea sell packaged tea, teapots, etc?

I don't think they did. They had several types of hot teas and 2 or 3 iced, but only one of those was a blend of black teas that wasn't fruit flavored. They also had a few pastries. It was more like a large snack booth.

My favorite blend of tea is from Peet's coffee. It's their Summer House Iced Tea Blend. It's a blend of 3 teas from China and India.

Thank you all so much!! To tell the truth I didn't think I would get such a great response. I think to be on the safe side I will bring a small box of Lipton Cold Brew tea bags, but it sounds like at most places I will be able to find ice/d tea. Thanks again!!!

I had delicious flavored brewed iced tea from Wolfgang Pucks Express in DTD but I don't remember what the flavor was. POP Century also had a fresh brewed iced tea dispenser which was pretty good.

At Pop only one side had the Iced Tea I had to look for it & boy I was so happy when I saw it. Before I left I had resigned to fact that I could have a week of crap coffee & Iced Tea. Well at least I had brewed tea. And Pucks was very good.

I guess you have to be a tea lover to understand! I too love a glass of fresh brewed tea and will drink ice water if none is available. We noticed that all of the restaurants we ate at on our last trip were now serving brewed tea and not fountain tea. I also will always ask if the menu doesn't say Fresh Brewed when it lists tea.

My favorite is Red Rose. I have been know to stockpile it when I find it because it can sometimes be hard to find. Since tea is what we drink at home as our beverage of choice, we use many, many tea bags!!

My tea pet peeve is not enough ice! I have a friend who will always order an extra glass of ice just to make sure her tea has enough!

Yes, I know that. I usually go for Lipton or Luzianne for home. I've tried Safeway's store brand and didn't care for it. I don't know the brand name, but I like the tea from Starbucks. But I have tried many flavored teas (Mango, passion fruit, raspberry, etc.) and none of them do it for me.

Anyone know about WL? Is it brewed tea (probably Lipton) at Roaring Fork or Nestea from the soda fountain?

Try Googling "iced tea" and "ice tea" and see what you come up with. Just because it's commonly misspelled on menus and such does not make it correct usage.

Again, I'm sorry for hijacking the thread and being a pain in the buttinsky about it. I'm a stickler for spelling and grammar and this common misuage bothers the heck out of me every time I see it. The funny part is... either way you spell it, I can't stand the taste of any kind of tea!

You are CORRECT. It is "iced tea". And, by the way, most WDW restaurants serve delicious freshly brewed, unsweetened iced tea. Enjoy!

Here'a bump for you, Stinky Pete. Hopefully someone will know about Roaring Fork's ice tea.

You know, I'm that way about hot tea. I don't care for fruit flavored hot black tea but enjoy most that are iced.
