Frequent entertainers/party givers?

I need to get my new boss a Christmas gift. We were just at her house last night for a party and her fiance said they love to entertain. They are a young couple and have been in their home for about 6 months. I was thinking about getting them something to use at parties. I need ideas. What is your FAVORITE thing you have that you use when you have a party--serving tray, gadget of some kind, etc.?

I am not a huge party giver, but in my business, I go to a lot of parties where people entertain.

If they are frequent party givers, do you know what they have already? Or any ideas on what not to get?

A nice wine bottle opener with a foil cutter could be a great gift.

There are so many serving pieces that you could look into on the market. I know I am partial to my Simple Additions pieces.

No, these are great ideas. I know they have a fancy wine bottle opener but last night at the party, they didn't have any serving utensils out, you picked up everything with your hands, which kind of grossed me out . I like the idea of the serving picks. I am still looking for more ideas too!

Someone gave me a Wilton Armetale platter that I love to use for parties because it retains heat or cold. You either warm it or put it in the fridge before adding the food--it works great.
