My fiance and I are self-employed, we run an internet-based business. Verrry convenient when we want to take a trip to the World!

middle school band director
DW is office manager at our church

:wave2:

Recently college graduate seeking teaching work. Currently an usher (a glorified janitor) at a movie theater.

I'm a SAHM, homeschooler and real estate investor. Hubby is an engineer.

The kids earn their own money working on my rentals.

I'm training to be an assistant manager of a retail store and my Dbf is the assistant manager of Blockbuster. We are both very young and most of our friends are broke from school. We save our money and invest wisely so that we can do two trips to disney or wherever we want to go. It's nice to have this freedom, now, before we have more expenses.

DH and I are both software engineers.

Me-Cardiologist
DW-SAHM--may be the most underappreciated job of all times!

Jointly-DVC members and Disney advisors to most everyone we know!

My husband is a supervisor for a construction company and Im a secretary at a motorcycle shop. Whew! We're rollin in it! LOL .....Not! We go to Disney ever other year because it takes us that long to save for it.

I am a SAHM/part-time church secretary/part-time caregiver to my nephew. :)

Dh is the IT manager for a construction engineering firm (weekdays) and a professional wedding photographer (weekends).

I am an accounting unit manager for a large financial services company and my husband works for Verizon.

I am a courier driver, and my DW is a bank teller. We work very hard 51 weeks of the year to have our 1 week of magic with Mickey and the gang.:earsboy: :earsgirl:

I am officially a research scientist, which is what they call you after you've been a lab tech for way too many years. DH has a PhD in biophysics and has had many job titles, including scientist, faculty, and researh scientist, also. Right now we are BOTH paid on grant (soft) money, which means he has no guaranteed income after 6/05 and my money runs out 11/05. We work hard and it sounds very fancy, but with a post grad degree and 13 years of experience I still make less then $36000, DH does better with a PhD but not alot. Funny...starting college profs make alot less than everyone thinks, around $42K to start...he is not a big WDW fan, but DD and I go 2x a year...Priceline airfare, off site always (except last June for 5 nights at POFQ), very few souveniers, limited sit-down meals (1-2 per trip). Last June was our "big" trip, 2 weeks in FL so DD could go to space camp at KSC. 4nts in Disney area, 5 nts in Cocoa Beach, 5nts POFQ. Grand total for 3, all meals, gas, airfare, rental car, hotel, park tix (not mine and DD, we have AP), camp fees, souvies, etc. cam to just under $2500. Paid alot in advance, spending money from saving change, saving bottle money, yard sales, rebate checks, paid off rest on 1st cycle of cc after trip. Most trips are just DD and myself for 1 week, spend less than $1000. No cell phones, older cars, basic cable, very few label clothes/shoes, etc. We are happier in WDW twice a year, cheaply, than one trip at a deluxe every 2-3 years.

Own my own dress making design business and DH owns his own cabinet wood working shop.

I work in customer service as an Admin Asst at a company that makes bone densitometers, fluoroscopy machines and mammography machine. DH drives a tow truck. I usually pay for the vacation and ask DH to by the airfare for my birthday.

May sound silly.....but I get paid every other week and budget my expenses around 2 pay checks a month. 2x a year there is a 3 pay check month and I take a portion of the 3rd paycheck as down payments on vacations. I also get approx $200 extra every 3 months for profit sharing that I use towards my vacation.

I am an adjuster for an insurance company and my husband is a self employer contractor (not a big business just himself and one other worker)
I started out by making trips every few years, as I've gotten older I enjoy going more often. My husband refuses to go so I go with my children or by myself. This next trip I'm going with my mother who has never been during December.
I still enjoy saving my change, putting awaying money to buy Disney dollars, and following a budget. My husband gets a kick out of the fact that I still horde my ones and my change, but that is party of the fun.

I have a wedding cake business in my home and my husband is a computer engineer.:)

I own a bookstore and hubby is a Jeweller, he has a family business-Jewellery store has been around 104 years!

Me - I am my kids mom
DH - Zone Manager for General Motors Corp (Northern VA, Southern MD territory)

We are just starting our "Disney" life. Just finished our 1st trip with kids. Now we think we'll be going back every other year! DH has 20 days vacation. GM offers discounted park tix. We think family vacations are worth splurging so we make them a priority!
