FL TOURS has learned that Port Orleans French Quarter would be closed for renovations Beginning May 1st for about a month. If you have reservation with us during this period and are staying at the French Quarter, please contact Disney and let us know if your resort would be changed.

Hi Andy-
Actually POFQ and POR are both undergoing extensive renovation, starting with the closing of POFQ on 5/3. It will be closed for an indefinite period of time, according to the CMs, much longer than a month. If you want any other info on the closing please check out my thread on the resorts board at:

Most people don't know/haven't been contacted about where they are being moved but I hope everyone who is traveling with you company makes you aware of their new destination.

We just became aware of the fact when one of our guest called in this morning. When I called in central reservation at Disney, they only mentioned aboout FQ not the Riverside. But that's good to know.
