Five more days till our GG at POFQ!!!

I'm loving all these pictures, especially the Christmas ones - it's getting me SO excited to go!

One question - does anyone know if there are irons in the rooms?

Yes, and an ironing board in the dressing area. I miss POFQ SO much! Have a fabulous trip!

I've only ever stayed at the Contemporary, Poly and Animal Kingdom Lodge, however these pictures are definitely making me want to book my October trip here. It looks very peaceful and is absolutely beautiful!

Love hearing all the positive comments about POFQ. We are staying there next June after 6 or 7 stays at POR. I love POR and am a little worried about straying but it is our honeymoon and I wanted someplace new.

Well, if you get too lonely for it, you can always walk over to POR (or jump on the boat) and pay it a visit!

We just got back from Disney on 12/10 and during our stay, we wondered over to POFQ to do some shopping and dining. While we were looking around, we fell in love with the resort, so much that when we got home we immediately booked a 4 night stay for October. I can't wait....I am loving all of the pictures, can't wait to show my family tonight

I know how you feel. We just returned from trip during Thanksgiving and have almost definitely decided to stay at POFQ for our next trip. Our daughter loves the sea serpent slide. I love the beautiful grounds and the river setting.

This is a GREAT thread.... Question, we have a child with a special needs stroller ( kinda on the big side) and I was wondering if there is elevator service to the second and third floors, and if not, can you request a room on the lower level?

We do not need a handicap room, just an easy way to get up and down the stairs with the stroller.

It is secluded. We almost didn't notice it at all. We were there on a very short shopping trip, no parks, just DTD, hotels and outlets. We noticed it while walking to the boat. It's a lovely resort and I hope you enjoy it all. I'm sure the hot tub will be relaxing!

We have spent 4 Christmases there. It is our favorite moderate resort. We used to also stay at POR but since we cannot be guaranteed Alligator Bayou (no complaints... just saying!... we have stopped staying there. The decor and architecture in the Mansions area is too much like colonial Virginia where we live.)

Anna... I see your trip in October includes the inaugural F&W Festival Marathon/Half-Marathon. I will be there at the same time, but I am not the one who will be running. A very good friend is entered in the 1/2 marathon and a bunch of us are going to be at the finish line cheering her on. I will have to look for you too!
