Does PortOrleans French Quarter have new family suites that are available? I can't find them documented anywhere! I want to take a family trip in December with me, dw and three ds's and would love, love ,love to stay at the French Quarter. It is by far our favorite moderate, but in the past few years we couldn't stay there because they only slept four max. I thought I read and heard that there were going to be suites soon. Please tell us suites are available that accommodate five!!

Thanks!! Charlie.

French Quarter does not have any suites. You may be thinking of its sister resort Riverside because the Alligator Bayou rooms can sleep 5. Those rooms are not suites, they are typical moderate rooms and contain 2 queen beds and a fold down Murphy bed meant for a child or young adult.

The PP is correct.
1. POFQ does not have suites of any kind. Max occupancy per room is 4 + 1 child under 3 yrs of age.

2. POR has rooms in Alligator Bayou that sleep 5. The murphy bed is built to hold a smaller child (average size - under 10yrs)

3. Little known tidbit- CSR has some suites that will sleep 6. But they're very expensive compared to the regular rooms.
