I just wanted to let you all know how it went with getting my braces off. It was not bad at all. It did not hurt one bit. I was so worried about how they got the brackets off and they just loosen them and they were off. I am so happy with how they look and I can't stop smiling. I thought the goody bag they gave me was the usual floss, toothpaste and stuff so I never looked in it until I got in the car and it was a bag of Fritos, Tootsie Rolls, a full size Twix bar and a free 5x7 closeup of my new teeth at a photographer. I wish I would have looked in it in front of the Dr. so I could say Thank You. Not that I didn't say Thank You a thousand times after the braces were off. Thank You all for giving me advice. Hopefully I can figure out how to put up a photo so I can put up a before and after. Thank You All.

Glad you had a good experience. All of the good things I'm reading about braces on the DIS is making it easier to make up my mind about having them put on. I know I need to do it, I'm just reluctant.
