It seems that Joe and Jimmie may share similar beliefs regarding homosexual marriage. What they have not had in common is the manner in which each shares that belief.

We didn't like Joe's intolerance. Let's make sure not to turn around and treat Jimmie in the same way Joe treated those who disagreed with him.

I agree. Jimmie and I disagree on a number of issues, but we have always had respectful debates. Jimmie believes what he does, but he is not a hater.

O.K., if a homosexual hijacks a word, it's politicallly incorrect to say they are an insensitive bigot. But if a majority person does the same thing, it's O.K. on the DIS to label them as exactly that. In other words, it's O.K. for the left to change our vocabulary, but not O.K. for the right.

Those who deceive others my telling them they should stay in their homosexual lifestyle because "it's the true you" or implying that God condones it are truly hurting others instead of helping them overcome it.
