freebies/coupons/budget tips for Canadians

I love to read the Budget Board but often get frustrated because the freebies and coupons and great deals the people talk about are almost always "U.S. only."

Anyone have some Canadian money-saving tips that we could take advantage of?

I use www.save.ca and www.frugalshopper.ca to get coupons.
Both are very good.
ALso too if you shop at Dominion or A/P you can go to www.freshobsessed.com to get coupons.

Hi. I also say save.ca. I do it all the time and they are in your mail box as quick as in 3 days.

Thanks for the info. I looked at the save.ca website and signed up for a few coupons as well. I'll put my coupon savings into my Disney Account and we'll be there before we know it.

My husband prefers to grocery shop as he says I spend to much, but one day we did it together.
The cashier rang everything up, and it came out to about 100.00.
Well, out came my wallet, and all my coupons. One by one I handed them to her, my husband left to go wait in the car when she asked if I was done yet.
I managed to save 10.00 that day.
Also too, remember to check your grocery bill because anything that isn't rung in correctly is free.
I cannot tell you how many free things I have gotten this way.

For those who shop at Sobey's, they have the miniature hot dogs in the tub on for $1.00 this week and they also had a coupon hanging beside them for .30 cents off making them .70 cents. I send them once in awhile for my ds lunch. They come with a little fork and ketchup. Also, if you buy the kool aid tetra drinks, they have a $1.50 on the box. Last week at price chopper, they were $1.97 plus with the coupon, I ended up getting them for .47 cents a box.
Keep this board rolling with great savings.

Last month Electrsol emailed me with an offer to do a quick survey and if I did they would send me some dishwasher tabs. (I think this was because of a contest I had entered before)I thought they would send me a small free sample like two or four, but no...I received a parcel with a box of 15, the standard small size on the shelf.They may still have this up and running but I think it was Electrasol.com, not .ca. I am not sure as they contacted me.

Red Flag Deals is another site for Canadians. Coupons, deals, and freebies. Ive gotten a lot of free stuff from them. I use my jetables e mail address. I've gotton free callendars, electrasol dishwasher tablets, $5.00 off ice cream, face cream, cat food, the list goes on. Sorry, I'm not competent on the computer or I'd set up the address better, but if you google red flag deals, you'll find it.

Also I go to Goldfish. Another great site.
