Freebie Thread ~ Monday April 20th

Just a tip with this. When you get the email DO NOT click on the link just print it right from the email and you'll be able to use it all summer long!

Have you tried to use just the email at DQ? Would love to know if they accept it as such.
When you click on the link, it states it can only be used once. While I'd love to do what you're suggesting, I'm really afraid it won't work :confused3

We're in Massachusetts and I checked Ben & Jerry's locater link. Massachusetts has 25 locations and fourteen are NOT participating in the program. Rhode Island is our close neighbor. They have 7 locations and four are NOT participating. I think if a person owns a franchise, he/she should be required to follow the company programs. I won't be shopping for Ben & Jerry ice cream any time soon. Their prices are higher than most other brands, also, but my husband is a "Cherry Garcia" addict....he's going to have to choose another brand.

How does redbox work? I'm not sure if you pick the movie up in person or it is ordered on line. I just found out there is one close to me.

You can reserve a movie on line, but you need to pick it up in person. Or you can just go to the box and rent the movie. You will need to enter a credit card which is used for security and payment. They send you an e-mail receipt for both rental and return.

Does anyone know about using the free codes for a movie you reserved on line? Do you enter the code when you pick it up?

:thumbsup2It worked like a charm! Three times!! Did you know that as long as you use a different credit card/debit card, you can use the code over again? I stopped at three, can't watch any more movies before tomorrow!

I tried the code yesterday and couldn't get it to work. Maybe I was doing something wrong?:confused3 Can someone give me the simple version of using the machine? :worship: I tried to enter the code in the beginning, that didn't work, so I tried using it at the end after you choose the movie but before you swiped the card. Can anyone give me some guidance??? :surfweb:

In fairness, in MA and RI most of those not participating look to be inside movie theaters or Six Flags (which isn't even open today). At the theaters, those aren't really franchises but rather suppliers. I don't buy Ben and Jerrys cause it costs to much, but I think you are being a bit harsh.

WooHoo!!!
Vermonter here, I am certainly hitting this up after dinner tonight!! YUMMY!!!

yes we did it all last year and twice so far this year.

Rats! There isn't one near me. I guess I can afford to skip those calories anyway. Enjoy your free ice cream!:lovestruc

Has anyone gotten the dog food from Rachel Ray Noutrish ?

It seems like such a long time ago this freebee was posted and I never got it. :sad1:

I got mine, but it was the one from Wal Mart.

I got it also. Our dog liked it so much, it is now her food choice.

I got both of them-the one from Walmart AND the one from Rachel Ray.:confused3 Haven't tried them yet, though since our dog is still on puppy food(even though she now weighs 56 pounds:scared1:).

Unfortunately, I didn't like Nick and Nora....it couldn't hold my attention and IMO didn't have a great story line :(

Hopefully you'll like it though!!
I just saw Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist and liked it a lot. Had one really long gross running joke, but if you could handle that, you probably will like the movie.

OH DEAR GOD! THE GUM!!!!:scared1: DH and I were covering our eyes and screaming at the "one" part! YOU know what it was! :lmao::rotfl2:

I thought the movie was--- OK. DH and I always say we like movies about....nothing. But I would say it was more of a younger person's movie. More for early 20s maybe (which I am not :rolleyes1) But I still enjoyed it.

We did rent (from Blockbuster) Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson I love that man (may be RIP:worship:) Great movie if he interests you.;) We also saw Breakfast with Hunter and Buy the Ticket, Take the Ride: Hunter S. Thompson on Film which are also great documentaries- and of course, Fear and Loathing and Where the Buffalo Roam are incredible. BUT you really have to be into and appreciate Hunter to like them IMO.

I LOVED Arrested Development. I still laugh out loud when I think of the time Will Arnet's character 'fished' for the seal with a taste for human blood with a basketful of kittens....:lmao:
To keep this OT- I rented Milk.

MILK was awesome!:thumbsup2

I got Marley and Me today. It was good. Next week I think I'll get Doubt or 7 pounds (or both)

Not crazy about Marely and Me:guilty: Not sure why. I think I might be the only one who did not care for it.

Thanks freaps! I am now hooked on Redbox (as well as Blockbuster online)!:grouphug:

How do I sign up to get the redbox code emailed to me? Do they only do it on Mondays?
