Maggie-I know it's kind of early to be thinking about baby food, but I highly recommend Earth's Best. I made most of the food for the kids, but used this brand when we needed something on the run and as a backup at home. They make a rice cereal for starting them off and jarred foods in different stages-all organic.

I can foot the bill for the $.42 stamps, but the furniture....you'll have to let your folks help you out with that.

We are not "decorating" people, so when we had DS#1, all I bought was a crib-second hand. I used the counterspace in between my sinks in my master bath to change him and put his plastic bathtubbie there, too. We already had a small dresser from my younger days, and that was it! No furniture bills for us..oh yeah, my DH did buy a Stickley oak rocker for me, it looked beautiful, but not comfortable in the least. Plus when DS would puke up milk, it dribbled all over the leather seat...

I was almost certain you were going to accept the bill when I had it sent to your house. Well exnay that plan. LOL Maybe since Madd doesn't have any kids, I could send it to her...

Well, I have hit the motherload of freebies- I joined the Bzzz. campaign and did the Neutrogena campaign. I got a big box the other day with:
Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Cincealer Kit SPF 20
Neutrogena Nourishing Eyeliner
Neutrogena Nourishing Eye Quad
Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara
All full size and awesome. I have already used them. One of my favorite freebies as of yet!! Thanks freeps peeps!!!

That is one thing im looking forward to is a glider/rocker & ottoman. So if any freaps have recommendations of one thats more comfortable than hrh's... please spill the beans.

I recommend the Dutailier Grande Glider Rocker. A little pricey, but very comfy and even better when paired with the matching ottoman.

I found mine at Babies R Us. They also have them online. If you have a Babies R Us near you, I suggest you try out the different styles to determine which one fits you best.
