Free Wine Seminar Question

We're going to the Food & Wine Fest in November. Has anyone been to the "free" wine seminars? Where are they located? Do you get to try any of the different wines like the Sam Adam's seminar?

The seminars in the past have been in a few places around the World Showcase where tents are setup as well as in the building that houses the electric Umbrella next to the Fountain.

They are of various levels of knowdledge and depth. Most are fairly simple with the speaker pushing their wines. I hae attended quite a fwe in the past and plan on attending as many as possible this trip (the main reason for my first week of vacation).

On www.wdwig.com , Deb lists some of the seminar locations. When you get to EPCOT look for the Food and Wine Fest booklet as it will have the list of events and seminars that are going on and their locations.

I have really enjoyed these seminars, one was hosted by Peter Mondavi Jr and was excellent. It showed how they made Meritage wines for Charles Krug. He was a great speaker and very friendly, I spent about 1/2 hour after the seminar just talking wines with him. He then signed a bottle of wine for my wife and I as we were celebrting our 15th Wedding anniversary.

Chalk Hill did a nice presentation on differences in the Chardonnays.

I can hardly wait to see what is on the schedule this year.
