I was charged two or three times for this "special" and it's not even a real Wii???. Is there any way to report the double/triple charge to Paypal? Or do I just lose the $.

You should report to Paypal and also to your and their state business agencies (such as the BBB).

Yes, let Paypal deal with it. I was only charged once but even so, if it comes and is defective Paypal will deal with it.

Although I have no proof, The picture was of a box that said "Nintendo Wii" on it. I would not have ordered it if it hadn't.
I have not recieved mine as yet, but will post when I do.

I have the picture, as it was sent to me on facebook. It probably isn't definite proof because an argument could be made that I snatched the pic from anywhere, but this is the picture from 1 sale a day:

I really hope this isn't as bad as we're beginning to hear. Then again, it was six bucks (as long as we were charged only once). Frustrating, though.

ETA: if you're on facebook, you can check out the 1sale a day page - it's listed there, and it does say "Nintendo Wii 5 in 1 Grand Slam Sports Kit" with the above posted photo. People are starting to comment there - someone else has been charged multiple times, but no comments yet about quality etc. I'll keep my eye out there.

Well I was at Walmart tonight and thought I'd take a look at the wii sports attachment sold there (the nintendo one). It's the nerf one and the item that I received in a plain white box with loose items inside looks like a miniature version. The head of the racquet is about 50% smaller, the bat shorter and the golf club is turned in a slightly different direction. Didn't take the items out of the box nor did I had mine with me.
Sure seems like a bait and switch and I would definitely have NOT purchased this if I had known better. It was definitely an impulse purchase since the kids don't really play with this much and thought it might be fine with sports resort (which they like).
JMHO though.

I will be interested to see what mine will be like. I wonder if there is a return policy if what you (cmjaffe) are correct. I can say even though I still haven't received the item yet I was only charged once for it. So, I don't know yet..

Got mine today. Ugh. There were the three "sports" pieces (racquet, golf club, bat) but no adapter thing that the picture shows and no wrist strap. The box is marked "received damaged" by the post office so doesn't sound good at all. Have emailed with a request to fix the problem.

I just got mine too. It was a plain white box with the 3 items mentioned above inside. I am not happy with it at all. I am going to try and return it but we will see what happens. If I can't its only $6 but I won't be buying from that site again.

Shoot. I had hoped to send 2 as gifts. Guess I will just eat the cost if they can't be given as gifts.

Just checked Paypal though and at least I was only charged once.

Since they were "technically free" (though $6 shipping) I doubt that anyone will have any luck with a refund. You'll spend $$ for shipping it back and then they'll say "but you weren't charged for it" (highly doubt that the shipping was $6 though). We had 4 pieces of plastic in white box and a strap. Don't have any idea how to assemble it and wonder if will even work.

You know you are probably right, usually when you return something you get your money back but not the shipping and since this was "free" its not worth it. That sucks! Oh well.

I got all 5 pieces (golf club, racket and bat along with remote holder and wrist strap and a warranty card.) I am not sure it is Nintendo brand, as it does not say it anywhere on it, but for $6 I can't compain. The plain white box does not surprise me too much, as I am sure it is so no one could order it and return it to the store.

I'm not sure after hearing all these reviews that I would risk it again, but I have to say I lucked out this time.

i got all 5 pieces as well..just wondering has anyone tried it with the Wii? does the holder hold the remote? if it does i'll be happy!

I emailed them ( support@1saleaday.com ) and asked about the two missing pieces, fully expecting not to hear from them. I did hear back today, and they're going to get the missing pieces to me. Not that I'm holding my breath, but we'll see... at least it's something!
