High-Speed
and WiFi
Internet Access
at the Walt Disney World Resorts

Complimentary Wi-Fi (Wireless Internet)
March 16, 2012: Walt Disney World Resort has announced that complimentary Wi-Fi service is now available in all Walt Disney World Resort hotels. You can now access Wi-Fi in your resort room, as well as in select common areas within your Disney hotel, including restaurants, bus loading zones, feature pools, arcades, convention spaces (if applicable) and the porte cochere. NOTE: This does not include the campsites at Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. However, complimentary wired Internet access is available if you're staying there. To connect to the network using a wireless-enabled device (e.g. laptop, cell phone, etc.), look for the network option labeled "Guest – Access (unsecured)". Once you click on that option, you'll be taken to a screen that prompts you to accept the terms and conditions. After accepting the terms and conditions, you'll have Wi-Fi access free of charge. For cell phone users, cellular carriers covered for the free Wi-Fi are AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and MetroPCS. If you have trouble connecting to the complimentary Wi-Fi, contact Walt Disney World Telecom at 407-827-2732.

I made a inquiry about WiFi at Pop Century when I stayed 3/1/12-3/6/12.
I was told that Wifi would likely become avaible around then end of May when Art of Animation opened. They are still working to run the wiring and other things at Pop.

that's great!! thanks for the info!!

We just arrived back from the Beach Club on March 6th and there was free Wi-Fi in the rooms, reception, around both the quite pools and Stormalong Bay, just had to accept the terms and conditions each time we connected to the internet, worked great on both the laptop and iphone.

Don't understand the part referring to cell phones and carriers ????
If the phone is wifi enabled, wouldn't you be connecting through that regardless if you have a sim active or not, or is it working similar to our version of The Cloud or BT Hotspots?
I know my iPhone will connect to wifi without a sim

the US is weird. I think it's safe to say we can ignore that sentence.
If you're using an iphone, you'll be able to use the wifi without issues.
Just make sure your data roaming is turned off, so you don't accidentally use the cell service instead of the wifi.
