Free weight loss web site?

I used my fitnesspal too! I love it! I started in January and i have lost 40 pounds! It helped me get the smallest i have ever been since high school! My user name is marciakenn if you want to friend me. It doesn't show a lot of my progress bc i got to know how many calories everything was and got lazy logging in. I am going to get back on bc I stuck at 128. I want to get down to 125 maybe 120. Good luck! I also try to keep my carbs low and it helped reduce my portion sizes. Love the exercise tracking too!

I like the Calorie Counter app by fatsecret.com because you can use the barcode scanner to track almost everything. So instead of having to type in all of the info, I just scan the barcode and 90% of the time the item is in the database.

You can also access the fatsecret website, where you can personalize your diet to whatever you are following at the moment.
 

Another vote for Sparkpeople.com, I have lost 85 lbs since Jan of last year, it was the only online tool I used. I love the recipe site incorporated with it, and the fitness/food trackers that are easy to use, and customize. If you like messageboards (which if your on here, you probably do!) their community of blogs, threads is amazing.

Site sponsored by Lance Armstrong. LOVE it. Spark People was a little to much for me. I didn't need all the bells and whistles that site had. I have limited time to track my calories and work-outs and the myplate section of livestrong works great for me. Hit my goal weight and now it is helping me maintain.

I've tried several, and this one by far has been the best for me. Super easy to use and very motivational boards. Everyone is friendly and willing to answer questions. Very easy to log your food and your exercise.

I'm another Lose It! user - love love love it! It has really worked for me. Since Jan 10 I have lost 25 pounds. I've got 2 more I'd like to lose, but even after I lose them, I'll be sticking with lose it to help with maintaining weight loss. Good luck to you!
 
My hubby has lost 125lbs since April of last year and really loves the lose it app too.It really helps him keep track of everything and has kept him on track to make sure he doesn't take in too much sodium.He is always pulling out his phone and putting in his food after dinner which drives me alittle crazy though!
 
I was using SparkPeople but the constant spamming of my inbox turned me off to it. I now use www.livestrong.com and love it. Recipes, tips, calorie and food tracker, and fitness logs all for free, plus helpful forums and articles.

You can turn off the individual e-mail subscriptions on the sparkpeople site so you don't get so much mail.

I joined myfitnesspal because of this thread and I love it! It has been a great and easy way for me to keep track of what I am eating and my exercise. Now I don't just go and grab a bag of chips and snack because I don't want to see it on my food diary.
