I just agreed to help a friend manage his mother's Sunterra timeshare weeks. I think she has 7-8 weeks and she isn't utilizing them to her potential. In exchange, I will get a free week a year. Haven't ironed out all the details yet and am not familiar with these properties. If you could stay at any of them for a week, which one would you stay in and why? I've gotten some basic information from the Sunterra site, but since I don't have access to the owner's site as of yet, it's very limited information.

It would be me, DH, DS 12 & DS 17. We might ask my mom and dad along for the ride if they want to go. Would definitely want something that is newly renovated and has at least 2 BRs. A great pool is a must. Would prefer more of a "resort" feel than a "rental home". TIA!

I've never stayed at any of these, so I won't vote, but I would jump at the chance to stay at Embassy Vacation Resort -Grand Beach. They're 3BR's. right? They come up as the most expensive on GETRAVELOP, and never seem to get listed for space-A

We had a terrific stay at Cypress Pointe in a 2 bedroom on a Fri and Sat night. Check out www.cypresspointe.net for pic of Cypress Pointe and Cypress Pointe Grandvillas.

We've stayed at Cypress Point, and the Embassy Vacation Resort. I thought the rooms at the EVR were larger, and fresher than the CP rooms. The same went for the pools and grounds.

both CP and ES have 3 bedrooms.

CP is higher in the rating on tug than ES.

that could just mean more guest expected the Embassy name to mean something - in this case it doesn't - Embassy is being paid for the use of their name - it mean nothing.

embassy has also gone through management companies I think this is their third or fourth one....

We stayed at Polynesian Isles last year and loved it.
