Got more milk?

The theme park has announced a new policy for its table-service restaurants.

Disney announced this morning that its table-service restaurants will start providing free refills on children's drinks, including juices, milk, bottled water and soda, starting May 31.

The free-refill policy will not apply to specialty drinks.

yes, and they have been... on soft drinks that is.

This is great! My kids love milk with their meals, but usually I make them get soft drinks because I hate having to pay for so many milks! Now they can have a healthier choice and I don't have to worry!

Maybe its just me but we were on the DDP last year .My DH usally got a coke and I had iced tea. My 2DD's had milk, juice, and sometimes sprite. We were all able to get FREE refilles on all of them so I'm confused if they stopped giving free refills and than started again.

I did not get free refills when I was there the time. And I was on the dinning plan. I am very happy with the change.

That's great that it's going to be policy...when we were there in 2005 on DP we did get free refills on Milk...even for the adults...I guess I was lucky...I don't drink soft drink.

Do they give the kids their drinks in the "to go" plastic cups? Can we refill at the restaurant then take the leftovers out with us?

Amy

This is great! My DS drinks 2-3 glasses of milk with each meal. I'm glad for the "official" word on free refills!

Thanks for the info!

I think that I have to chime in about the refills as well. I don't see anything different about this refill policy. We are die hard yearly or twice a year visitors, and being on and not on the dining plan, we have ALWAYS had free refills on all our soft drinks at all the TS restaurants we have visited. I kind of hope that maybe they made a mistake and meant to say that kids would get refills at all COUNTER SERVICE restaurants. That makes better sense to me. Don't you think?

This is great! My 3 year old is such a milk drinker! I end up bring a cooler bag with two 16oz bottles of milk and a cooler pack, each day to a park.

Now this is a healthier change that I really appreciate. That's something that we hate about most restaurants - my kids are only allowed on glass of soda per day at most, but soda is usually the only thing other than water that if eligible for free refills. My kids would much prefer refills on their milk or apple juice, and I'm glad to see they'll be able to get that now at Disney!

Can someone help me by answering my question? I'm so confused.
The OP stated that the refills would apply to children's drinks.
Well, I'm not a child, obviously :rotfl:, but I always order juices or milk at TS retsuarants for the most part. Would the free refill thing apply to me or not?
