Apparently, my fax number is similar to that of a pharmacy. I don't know which one, I just know that I keep getting faxed prescriptions for various medications.
I always call the doctors' offices, and tell them about the mistake, and they apologize to me for my inconvenience which strikes me as kind of odd because I'm not the one whose name, address, and medical info is being faxed around town. I've received 14 faxed prescriptions in the last 2 - 2 1/2 months (including one a few minutes ago from an urgent care clinic, which is what prompted me to make this post).
It's made me resolve to always ask for my prescriptions in person, and take them to the pharmacy myself.
