*FREE* Pay it Forward Swap at the POP

Hi - I am completely brand new to these boards, but we will be at Pop from Jan 30 - Feb 7. I love the idea of the PIF box (started out looking for a fridge swap - if anyone knows of availability that week please let me know!). We'd love to join for that week. It looks like we could do an in person handoff with Daisylove. I'm sure we'll have a lot to leave in the box when we depart, too!

Hey Mrs. D,
I just got your PM. Your swap sounds great, but I think we will pass this time b/c the swap is with different people. We are heading to Mickey's with 4 kids under 7yo and 3 grandparents who have never been there. I am anticipating coordinating the fridge swap and garden grocer for baby food will be enough chaos for this trip. Hopefully in the future if it's okay with you we can join your swap. we drive to WDW and always end up with things we cannot pack to bring home including stuff we brought over with us.

we arrive march 14th in the evening. depart march 19th by noon.

do we use what is in the box? leave what we do not need and add donated items before we leave?

Thanks! The trip was fantastic and the weather was perfect. The cold snap was gone by the time we got there thank goodness! We had a great time and the crowds were manageable, but oh my lord my legs were like noodles by the end of the trip. They just refused to go any more!

I want to mention that the box is bursting at the seams with all kinds of great stuff and is also starting to show its age so if anyone in the swap is driving down maybe they could bring a new, little bigger box.

You are correct in how the box works. Please feel free to take any thing/as much as you need from the box! Then put it anything you think others would find useful. I added a lot of kids 'prizes'. We went just before Christmas so I put any dollar store toys, small coloring books and other distractions into Christmas goody bags. Whenever I needed to advert a meltdown, out came a present! We had plenty leftover (I guess the kids were good) so I put them in the box!

Perhaps since you are driving you might be able to bring a flattened box with to replace our rather full box??? To give you and idea of size our current box could probably hold 3 reams of printer paper.

we're driving down this saturday (1/30), and i'll try to remember to stick a box in the car. would a jumbo diaper box be a good size?

*Future swappers, if you have the ability to replace the box, if would be greatly appreciated! Please be sure to Identify it as the Pay It Forward Swap at Pop and multiple sides of the box and decorate it if possible to make it noticeable.

Also, please feel free to edit the box as needed. If something is looking junky (starting to leak or get tattered) go ahead and remove it from the box.

I have some great kid goodies to put in it. I went overboard shopping here on Disney items.
