Hi, we found our box!!!!!! I saw it when I was picking up my rental stroller sitting in the back. I couldn't remember if that box matched the description, so the luggage guy told me the name on the box (wasn't supposed to), and it didn't match anything I had. So, I went back to the room and looked on the thread to see if it matched the description, and it did!!! However, when my husband went down to pick it up the only reason they released it to him is because he said disboards and that was written on the box. They are not supposed to release it if it doesn't match the guest name. So, here are my tips.
1) Know what the box looks like. It is teal color rubermaid-like storage container with black mickey heads on the side.
2) Make sure that the next person's name is on it.
3) Make sure it says "disboards" on it.
Anyway, we dropped it off with Niccikatie's name on it arriving 7/31. It is in luggage services, off to the right hand side of the main entrance in to PO riverside. It was about 1/2 full of good stuff!!!

Hey guys! Sorry it's taken so long to post pictures of the box, life has been pretty crazy since we got back. I tried to make the box very identifiable. I don't know how many of the mickey heads have survived. If they have fallen off they are the paint samples from home depot if anyone wants to add them back on. I'm glad to hear the box it still going. Sorry if the pictures aren't the greatest, I took them on my phone. Hopefully it will still be there when we get back. I can't wait to read the journal. Also can you remove us as an alt for Sept. We are most likely going to push back our trip till Jan or Feb.

This is more than likely a silly question but I'm asking anyway. If the person previous to you stayed at POR and you're staying at POFQ, do you have to go to POR to pick up the box? And is the reverse also true...that if the next person is at the other resort, do you go there to drop it off?

We'd love to have you! However, the box is only available part of your stay. It's free from Sept 27-30. It's spoken for the 30th on...let me know if you'd like to have it from the 27th-30th!

If it gets lost on the long vacation it's having this summer, and no one brings a new one, I will bring a new one when I'm there in Sept, so either way, Nov should be ok!

To answer your question, if the box is correctly labeled w/ the next swapper's hotel, either FQ or Riv, they will put it in the right spot so it should be at the right luggage service when you get there. If it's in the wrong one, they will retrieve it & bring it to you. You don't have to go get it from the other place. You will also drop it off at the luggage services where you are. Make sure to put the right pick up location on it & i'll get to the right spot for the next person. Hope this helps!
