free parking at Disney

If we want to check out the resort hotels and downtown Disney do we pay for parking or is it free? Same with citywalk and resorts at Universal?

At Disney, parking is free at the resorts and DTD. At the resorts, you will most likely get a 3 hour parking pass.

Universal has a fee for parking both at city walk and the resorts. I don't remember how much it is. At least $10/day.

City Walk parking is free after 6 PM.

The Universal resorts charge a $6 a night parking fee to its guests so I would assume that it would be the same for visitors.

I visited the Royal Pacific Hotel at Universal last February - told the guard I was interested in just taking a look around and taking some pictures. He let me pass with no questions asked. Can't vouch for how it would be handled at the other two resorts.

If the resorts do charge for parking, I suspect it's added to the bill - the guard shacks don't look like they're equipped to handle money exchanges.

The main lot at Universal charged $8 per day five months ago, when visiting the parks - haven't heard of any increases.

There is no charge to park at DTD anytime.
