Free Parking At Disney Parks For Onsite Guests?

Hi

We have a car for 14 nights next year and we were going to use our car for some of the disney parks, due to the transportation problems and wait times we encountered last year.

When staying on site do you get free parking at the parks? We would be thinking of using it for Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach and perhaps Epcot?

Yes you do just remember to ask when you check in - they will give you a ticket thing to go in your car. You can go to all the parks and not pay if you are staying on disney property. We liked it as it saves a lot of time rather than transportation

Parking is free to ALL visitors at Disney water parks.

Thanks for the info. I said to Bruce it would save us time, but he was adamant it wouldnt. Perhaps not at MK, but certainly the others in my opinion. I got fed up waiting for buses last year, sometimes we would have to wait for the 2nd or 3rd bus it would be ages before we got back. Sometimes we would have to share one bus stop for all the All Star Resorts we were not impressed after finishing the park and having to wait for nearly 40 mins before being able to get on a bus. This is why I want to drive everywhere next yr.

You will probably save time but there may be waits for trams to get to the cars. Some parks you can park within walking distance if you get there early enough which is a big advantage timewise. All you need to show is your room card or the car sign you get from check in. We like the buses but with experiences like yours would probably go for a car - we do use one while we are there but not every day to go to the park.
