Free parking and free shuttle at Hampton Inn

I got an email from Maria Sheldon, Director of Sales at the Hampton Inn in Cocoa Beach. I had asked her to specify what was included in the "Cruise Special" that they mention on their web site (www.hamptoninncocoabeach.com).

Our cruise Package includes transportation to the port. Guests can leave their car in our parking lot free of charge while they're cruising. This will save them daily parking fees at the port. The room and transportation rate starts at $89, which also includes an extended continental breakfast.

I'm delighted by this news... another hotel offering parking and transportation... and this one's only a block from the beach!

Sounds great and looks nice. How far is this from the port, and how do you get from the airport to the Hampton?

We will be there this Friday!!! We can't wait for our first Disney cruise on the Magic. I think the pixie dust must be arriving early for us. What a good deal.

You can see the location of the Hampton Inn relative to the cruise terminal at my web site (www.dcltribute.com/spacecoast). As for the method of transit, I'm not sure. I've emailed Maria back for clarification on that point.

We have stayed at this Hampton Inn in the past and we are staying there this Sept. . I don't think this is a secured parking area, just a parking lot beside A-IA. I think I would rather pay DCL to watch over my vehicle while I am gone.
Just my opinion.
Is the Radisson lot secured (fenced)?

I am nervous about flying into Orlando the morning of the cruise...what if the plane is delayed? I am thinking if I fly, I would try to book a Fri eve flight and stay at the airport, then take the DCL transfer to the ship. Any suggestions on what is best near the airport?
