Free Parking and AP question

If you have an AP you get free parking.

If you pay for parking your first day so that you can get an annual pass, do you get refunded the parking fee if you bring your receipt to customer service when you upgrade your ticket to an annual pass?

I don't think so but I have never asked. I have always just gone the last two hours the parks are open (when they stop making you pay for parking) or parked at a resort and hopped a free ride to the park.

Yes you can get a refund just show them you receipt. We have done this twice (once we just forgot to bring our AP). It just takes a few minutes to process and we had our cash back.

Sure do. You have to fill out a little piece of paper - I think your name and address. I doesn't take long.

But that would mean going to DTD when I didn't plan to and going out of the way to get to DTD doesn't appeal to me just to save the days parking. I am happy they will refund the parking price though. I'll just have to bring the reciept with me.

We were told "NO" - at HS. This is probably another one of those things - some CMs do, and some CMs don't.

This is one that they SHOULD have a rule written down.

To avoid all of this - we take the bus.
